SURPRISE BIRTHDAY We designed a modern "lifeline" to be hung at the event. Guests got in on the action by adding play by play accounts of how they met the thirty year old.

Written pieces of colored paper were pinned to the corresponding chronological area. The 9 foot long installation served as a monumental birthday card as it got layered with well wishes.

Afterward the lifeline was framed and sent home as a most grand memento.
